What We Don't Collect

• Instagram passwords or login credentials
• Direct messages or private conversations
• Browsing history outside of Instagram
• Financial or payment information (handled by Stripe)

What We Access

• Instagram cookies — Used only for posting content, same mechanism as Instagram's web app
• Profile information — Username and profile picture for account identification
• Post content — Only when you explicitly create or schedule posts through Opalite

Optional Cloud Features

If you connect an Opalite account:

• Post scheduling data — Stored on your Opalite account for auto-publish
• AI caption requests — Image data sent to Google Gemini API for caption generation (processed, not stored)
• Cloud gallery — AI-generated images from your Opalite library

Data Storage

• Extension data is stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB)
• Cloud features use Cloudflare R2 for media storage
• Socket.io for real-time communication between extension and server

Your Controls

• Disconnect your Instagram account at any time
• Delete your Opalite account and all associated data
• All cloud features are optional — the extension works fully offline
