Your First Image Save

Once Gemini Studio is installed and connected, saving images is automatic. Here's a quick walkthrough.

Generate an Image

1. Go to gemini.google.com
2. Type a prompt that generates an image (e.g., "Generate an image of a sunset over mountains")
3. Wait for Gemini to create the image

Automatic Save

When Gemini Studio detects a newly generated image:

1. The image URL is captured automatically
2. The extension sends it to your Opalite cloud library
3. You'll see a brief notification confirming the save
4. The image appears in your dashboard within seconds

What Gets Saved

For each image, Opalite captures:

• The image file — full resolution, stored in Cloudflare R2
• The prompt — the text you used to generate it
• Metadata — timestamp, source platform, dimensions
• Filename — auto-generated based on the prompt

Verifying the Save

Open your Opalite Dashboard and check the Downloads page. Your image should appear at the top of the list with a "Gemini" source badge.

If Images Aren't Saving

• Check the extension popup — is it showing Connected?
• Make sure you're on gemini.google.com (the extension only activates on supported sites)
• Try refreshing the page
• Check the browser console for errors (F12 > Console)
