How DA Auto handles your data and privacy.
DA Auto operates entirely on your device. It does not connect to Opalite servers, cloud storage, or any third-party services. All automation happens locally in your browser through DeviantArt's own pages.
What Data We Access
When you use DA Auto, the extension reads data from DeviantArt pages to perform automation tasks:
- Stash item metadata — IDs, titles, thumbnail URLs, folder structure
- Gallery configuration — Gallery names, IDs, deviation counts
- Subscription tier settings — Tier names, IDs, associated deviations
- Form fields — Titles, descriptions, schedule dates, and tier selections (during bulk editing)
DA Auto never collects personally identifiable information, passwords, financial data, or browsing history.
Where Data is Stored

All data stays on your machine. There are no cloud databases, no remote servers, and no external storage.
Cache & Retention
- Stash inventory — cached for 5 minutes, then refreshed on next scan
- Gallery & tier configs — cached for 24 hours
- All cached data is cleared automatically when you uninstall the extension
- You can clear stored data at any time through Chrome's extension settings
No Account Required
DA Auto does not require an Opalite account. There is no sign-in, no OAuth, and no cloud sync. The extension works entirely with your existing DeviantArt session.
Network Activity
DA Auto communicates only with DeviantArt's own domains — the same pages you already visit in your browser.

No other domains are contacted. There are zero requests to Opalite servers, analytics services, or any third party.
Extension Permissions
DA Auto requests these Chrome permissions:

Third-Party Services
None. DA Auto uses zero third-party services.
No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no error reporting, no external APIs. The extension is fully self-contained.
Your Rights
You can:
- Uninstall the extension at any time — all stored data is automatically removed
- Clear extension data through Chrome settings (
chrome://extensions) - Revoke host permissions at any time to prevent the extension from accessing DeviantArt
